Beer packaging

Packaging, Illustration, Pattern Making, Copywriting, Strategy

Moosehead’s Small Batch Brewery packaging was traditionally sent out to an external design agency but during my time from 2022-early 2023, all designs were completed by myself with feedback coming from internal Marketing team. Of the six launches that happened while I was at the company, I designed 5. Below you will see what went to market and a few that did not make the final cut. The illustrations are original and drawn by me.

Alternate for Pale Ale that was not chosen

Option for the Oatmeal Brown Ale that was not chosen.

Alpine Plaid

This product was a seasonal offering during the winter months in 2019-2020. The brief was to create a festive winter plaid using the brand colours in the Alpine logo mountains.

GLACIAL PEAKS

The Beer ‘Glacial Peaks’ was created in-house from start to finish for a client out West. We held initial brainstorms and the name that I put forward was chosen—‘Glacial Peaks’. The design was then finalized by myself and a colleague. I illustrated the mountains and came up with the initial brand story basing them off of the Athabasca Glacier in Alberta.

Hop City Concept Art

These concepts were created for a 2019 pitch deck. None of these products came into production. The name “Tropical Typhoon” was pitched by myself the other names were brought forward by other members of the team

Holiday Gift Pack Design

This pack was created for the 2020 holiday season. This pattern covering the wrap is an original that I illustrated.
